Laying of foundations, beginning of construction

The first two roll turning machines Mod.1945 were manufactured. By the end of the year 1 600 people worked in the plant.

Government Commission accepted the plant for putting it into operation. Manufacture of Roll Turning Machines Mod.1945 was mastered. Prototype of Deep-Boring Machine Mod.2940A, was manufactured

Beginning of Great Patriotic War- 800 people went to the front from the plant.

The equipment of the plant was completely evacuated to Novosibirsk

After liberation of Kramatorsk the restoration of the plant was immediately started. By the end of the year 527 people worked in the plant.

The State Commission accepted the first post-war machine Mod. 1945

Serial production of ingot cutting machines mod. 1865 was mastered

For development of special type Roll Turning Machines Mod.1827C and Roll Grinding Machines Mod. 3415, the group of designers (N.A.Bondarchik, A.A. Ivanitskiy, F.P. Ovcharenko ) was awarded with State Prize of the USSR.

1950 - 1955

The plant's collective mastered the range of Heavy Duty Lathes. During this period the annual gross output was increased by 25%, labor productivity- up to 37%.

Completed assembly of unique deep-boring machine 2959 for borings diameter up to 1300mm, length up to 30m. Machine length 95m.

The plant became the permanent participant of exhibitions in Kiev and Moscow, machine tools of KZTS were repeatedly awarded with medals and diplomas of the exhibitions.

Actively and creatively the innovators and inventors were working at that time. About 20 000 technical decisions of were proposed and economical effect of introduction thereof into production processes amounted up to 10 million rubles.

For fulfillment ahead of schedule of 7-year Program for manufacture of Heavy Duty and Unique Machine Tools, the collective of the plant was awarded with the Order of Labor Red Banner.

Taking into account request of collective, the plant was given the name of V.Ya. Tshubar

By the 100 th anniversary of the birth day of V.I. Lenin the 3000th machine Mod. 1A660 was made.

As per plan of new technique 235 Heavy Duty machines of 99 new models were produced. First time in the country the manufacture of CNC Heavy Duty Lathes was started- the Unique Heavy Duty Lathe Mod. 1A685.01F2 with 2- position CNC system. Several innovations during designing were recognized as inventions.

Putting into operation of first automated transfer line for machining car axles in the Uralwagonplant. This unique line has no analogs in the world. New wheel- set milling machine Mod. КЖ 20МХ was awarded with the State Quality Mark.

For development of the range of new Heavy Duty Machines (Mod 1A660, 1A665, 1A670,1A675,1A680) the team of the designers was awarded with State Prize of the USSR. The Unique Heavy Duty Lathe Mod.1A685.01Ф2. was manufactured.

The Unique Deep Boring Machine Mod. КЖ 1940 was produced.

New training workshops of Industrial Technical School No.68 and Sports Complex "Start" came in to service.

The first machines with digital indication Mod. 1A660F1 were produced

The biggest Roll Turning Machine Mod. 1K828 was produced

The second automatic transfer line for machining rail road axles in the Krukov Wagon Building Plant was put into operation.

Production of the series of machines for production of parts from glass reinforced plastic Mod. 16122F2 was started.

Mastering of CNC Heavy Duty Lathes was started

Manufacture of Unique Heavy Duty Lathe Mod. КЖ 16142F1 for plasma -mechanical machining of parts out of high strength steels.
